Five-A-Day

so yesterday was the content to the revolution session. we take turns pulling out an excerpt, and my pick was,

saying of Prophet Muhammad,

'The son of Adam will not pass away from Allah SWT until he is asked about five things: how he lived his life, and how he utilized his youth, with what means did he earn his wealth, how did he spend his wealth and what did he do with his knowledge.' (Tirmidhi)

so clearly, it portrays the situation of us on our Final Day where we will be asked;

1. how one lived its life on earth
2. how one utilized its youth
3. how one earned its wealth
4. how one spent its wealth
5. what one did with its knowledge

in the session, we discussed what the reals of the questions, how some situations are still problematic, and stopped us doing the reals, can we do something similar in our lives in here, and will it merits us, can we relate the above with our now, and etc etc etc. and here is when i realized about making a small effort to a great change, it was as if a light bulb lighted up in my head, and all of sudden i felt i've found what i called a small effort. it's a Five-A-Day (FAD) effort! all we need to do is, ask a question to ourself on after each prayer, and answer each questions without putting take tahu as the answer. and. why is five? we pray five times a day, so that is how i came up with five questions a day. as simple as that! will FAD works? well, it will. i believe FAD will help us to consult ourselves, discover our profile, untangle our blockages, connect us with our positive self, and help us to be better in every way, and improve ourself overall. it doesn't matter if we get stumped to answer the questions at first, or if we don't know the answers to the questions, and it doesn't mean there are no answers. we know the answers are there, our mind it maybe are too foggy since we've not consulted it for a long time. this is why we need to ask ourself more; the more we ask, the clearer our mind will be, and the more ready we will be to receive the answers; negative nor positive. and we did our first FAD yesterday, so we swapped questions. and to be completely honest, i really had a great time answering their questions. and i really hope i can do this with you as well. it's fun isn't it? (grinning!)
